The Master in Geological Sciences and Technologies opens the doors to careers in geological researches and applications, giving job opportunities in Italy and abroad. The master's degree program offers two curricula and includes differentiated specialistic courses in: Applied Geomorphology, Geophysics and Seismic Risk, Geology and Stratigraphy, Applied Geology and Hydrogeology, Applied Petrography, Environmental Geochemistry, Cultural Heritage and Geoarchaeology, GIS, Close and Remote Sensing. Thematic and interdisciplinary field trips, fundamental for geologists’ education, take place in Italy and they are economically supported with Departmental funds. If necessary, the teaching will be carried out online.

The course prepares for the profession of geologist, paleontologist, geophysicist, hydrogeologist and allows the access to the Professional Practice Exam for qualification to the profession of geologist.
